Antique Pastoral Figurines by Greiner & Holzapfel and Sitzendorf
Item Details
A pair of antique German pastoral porcelain figurines. Both figures are colorfully hand painted, dressed in country garb of the day, and appear to be actively grappling with sheep. The figurine of the man is marked on the underside with a Greiner and Holzapfel mark from 1804-1815 while the female is marked with the Sitzendorf mark used from 1884-1902.
