An oil painting of a still life on canvas, by an artist signing the work ‘S. Alpert.’ This painterly work uses a palette of yellows and blues to depict an arrangement of vessels including vases, a coffee pot, and cups. The expressive work is signed to its lower right corner, and is mounted in a gold tone frame with a wire for hanging it its verso.

- some discoloration to verso of canvas; paper backing on verso has been cut; wear to finish on frame.
