Item Details

A vintage Hepplewhite style dresser by the Thomasville Chair Company. The wooden, walnut-stained case features a rectangular top above five machine-dovetailed drawers with brass tone, oval pulls. The top two drawers are recessed and the lower three drawers are flanked by reeded stiles. The dresser rises on flared feet centered by a double ogee, front apron. The tag on the backboard lists the makers as McAtee, Lyddane, & Ray, from Thomasville Chair Co. in Thomasville, North Carolina.
