A framed postcard depicting the Place de la République (Palace of the Republic) in Paris, France. Features a framed postcard depicting the famed Parisian public square, with the Statue of Marianne in the foreground and the iconic l’Hotel Moderne behind. A caption to the upper right reads ‘229 – PARIS – Place de la République – Faubourg du Temple et l’Hotel Moderne, Republic Place’, with several cancelled stamps to the front. The postcard is matted to white, with ‘Paris, France’ written in graphite to the lower left and ‘1923’ to the lower right. Presented under glass in a frame, with the postcard visible through the back as well, showing the handwritten greeting ‘Bonjour de Paris, Regina’ beside a destination address in Angoulême, in southwestern France.
