A Peshawar carpet runner. This wool rug is hand-knotted in a variegated, sun-washed palette of gold, cornsilk, peach, and cocoa. It features a design of large-scale palmettes amid smaller palmettes, leaves, flowers, and vines over a cornsilk field. The field is framed by a herati main border grounded in cornsilk. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at each end with short wool warp fringe. Unlabeled.
