An original 1952 oil portrait on canvas of a woman by artist Elizabeth Hall. This carefully-rendered work depicts the figure with her hair carefully groomed and her lips painted red, a thoughtful expression on her face. Her hands are resting in her lap, and she is painted against what appears to be a mottled green sheet. This work is signed and dated ‘’52’ to its lower right corner, and is presented in a wooden frame with gold tone molding around the inside perimeter. There is a hanging wire present to the verso.

- fair; fading to image; small chips to paint at upper right; wear to frame; frame is cracked at top right corner; gap between canvas and frame at lower left; sign of previous repair visible to verso.
