A hand-colored engraving of a genre scene featuring a large family group gathered in the room. It features an older seated man reading a paper while other look over his shoulder, a child feeding a kitten on the floor, and a man who appears to be leaping with joy. It is mounted under glass with a pink mat cut with an oval opening in a gilt trimmed black wood frame that is wired for hanging.
