Vintage Hand-Knotted Turkish Kazak Area Rug
Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Turkish Kazak area rug. This hand-knotted wool rug features a color palette of golden-yellow, leaf green, beige, blue, and brown. The main field has four rectilinear dyrnak guls with hooked crenelated edges in blues and yellows. The golden yellow field is also patterned with eight pointed stars in alternating colors. The main border has alternating yellow and orange leaves and it is bracketed by guard borders with a pattern of diagonal lines and lobbed flowers on blue. It has natural warp fringe to either end and it is not marked.
