A vintage hand-knotted Chinese wool area rug. The rug features an abrash salmon field populated by a central medallion worked in shades of indigo, navy, and sky blue flanked by floral sprays worked in a similar palette. The field is surrounded by a navy blue border infilled with a flowers and vines pattern set inside a narrow salmon frame. There is fringe to each end. Unmarked.
