An original hand-pulled lithograph with layered pochoir on paper designed very well-listed German artist Max Ernst (1891 – 1976) and printed by French artist Daniel Jacomet (1894 – 1966) for publication as one of 2500 unsigned copies of the March 1958 edition of the famed art publication XXe Siecle. This was edition number ‘X’ and was titled L’écriture plastique; it was published by French critic and publisher Gualtieri di San Lazzaro (1904 – 1974). This print depict a small rounded humanoid figure printed in layers of navy geometric framing. The print is unsigned and unmarked. It is unmatted and unframed, awaiting your choice of presentation.
