Slant Front Secretary Desk

A Georgian style slant front secretary desk by Maddox Tables. It has a flat top over a slant front, which folds down, supported by metal arms to the interior, to reveal cubby holes and a small drawer along the back. This sits over three stacked drawers with serpentine fronts and bails on batwing plates. It has trifid feet on ogee bracket legs to the front. The maker’s mark is inside a drawer and on a partially torn tag to the back; the dealer’s tag is to the back also.
