Antique Six Board Primitive Pine Chest

Item Details

An antique six board pine chest. This primitive 19th century piece is constructed from six ’King’s Pine’ boards and has a lift top over a simple body with a beveled apron to the base. Inside is a diddy box compartment off to one size, over a simple, small drawer with a centered knob between ‘JS.’ The chest has metal strapping to the interior, and a cut for a keyhole to the front.
