A limited edition 1979 offset lithograph print on paper after a 1978 painting by listed Texas artist Robert Summers (b. 1940) titled The Mighty Oak Endureth. The piece depicts three young boys climbing up to build a treehouse in the branches of a stately oak, set against golden fields and hazy blue skies. The image is dated and signed in plate to the lower left, with a signature in red ink to the lower right. It is additionally numbered to the lower right as 774 out of an edition of 1500. The print was published by American Masters Foundation, Inc. of Houston, Texas; it includes an ‘Affidavit of Limited Edition’ from the company with information about the print and edition, as well as a sheet with biographical information about Summers. The print is presented unframed.
