An original hand-pulled lithograph with layered pochoir on paper designed by very well-listed Spanish abstract artist Joan Miró (1893 – 1983) and printed by French artist Daniel Jacomet (1894 – 1966) for publication as one of 2500 unsigned copies of the March 1958 edition of the famed art publication XXe Siecle. This was edition number ‘X’ and was titled L’écriture plastique; it was published by French critic and publisher Gualtieri di San Lazzaro (1904 – 1974). This pochoir depicts a black field with thin red, green, blue, yellow, and white linework creating abstract shapes across it. The print is signed in-plate to the lower left. It is unmatted and unframed, awaiting your choice of presentation.

Condition

- print is very slightly yellowed with age.
