A watercolor painting of a beachfront scene on paper, by artist William Paskell (1866-1951). This delicately-rendered work depicts a dock lined with whitewashed buildings, the sandy beach scattered with figures and a cluster of sailboats visible to the distance. The piece is signed and dated what appears to read ‘98’ to its lower left corner, and matted under glass in a molded gold tone frame with a wire for hanging.

- heavy wear to frame; toning to mat and paper; dusty.
