1847 Rogers Bros. "Old Colony" and "Ancestral" Silver Plated Flatware

A grouping of silver plated flatware by 1847 Rogers Bros of International Silver. This includes twelve knives and six forks in the Ernest T. Beck designed Ancestral pattern, first introduced in 1924. They are also presented with of seventy-one piece set in the Thomas B. Lasher designed Old Colony pattern, first introduced in 1911, which includes eight blunt solid knives, two blunt hollow knives, fourteen forks, twelve place spoons, twenty-nine teaspoons, a serving spoon, a meat fork, two butter knives, and two sugar spoons. All pieces are marked to the backs or blades.

- mild surface wear including marks, scratches, and tarnishing; personalized engravings to many handles.
