Makoto Miyagi Japanese "Vase of the Fragrant Orchid" Porcelain Vase

A Franklin Mint Japanese porcelain vase designed by Makoto Miyagi. This vase is titled, The Vase of the Fragrant Orchid. It features black glazed tapered body with depictions of pink orchid flowers, brown stems, and green flowers to the body, as well as a scroll gilt band around the rounded shoulders and a gilt trim around the rolled lid. The underside is marked, ‘The Vase of the Fragrant Orchid by Makoto Miyagi, ©1986 The Franklin Mint’.
