A Rogers & Bro. Empire silver-plated flatware service for six. The pattern was designed by Frederick E. Pretat and introduced in 1921. The thirty-five piece service includes six knives, six salad forks, six dinner forks, six teaspoons, six dessert spoons and six flat handle butter spreaders. The flatware is marked ‘Rogers & Bro. A1’ to handle verso. Also includes a silver-plated master salt spoon marked ‘Holmes, Booth & Haydens A’ and a small spoon marked ‘Simeon L & Groge H. Rogers Company Xtra Oneida Ltd’.
