Vintage Nippon Japanese Hand-Painted Porcelain Platter

Item Details

A vintage Nippon Japanese porcelain platter. This piece has an oval body with handles on either side. It features a hand-painted floral and leaf design to the edges in pink, purple, yellow, and green, as well as a gold tone bands to the center and outer edge. The underside is stamped with the Nippon ‘rising sun’ mark in blue, dating between 1890 to 1921, or as late as the 1930s.

- some discoloration and wear to paint.
