A hand colored original etching after the work by Franz Johann Joseph von Reilly in 1794. The piece served as the title page to the first complete world atlas in Austria. The work reads, Grosser Deutscher Atlas and depicts symbols of science, art and music. It is presented in a white matting and housed in a carved black frame with gold tone accents.
