A J.T. Wilmore restrike etching after Jacob Thompson’s painting, The Ferry Boat. The work depicts men and women aboard a small boat. There is a white horse to the center holding a hunted deer. There are misty mountains lining the background. The work was published in London by Fishel, Adler & Schwartz. It is marked, ‘Engraved by J.T. Willmore, A.R.A.’ to the lower right and ‘Painted by Jacob Thompson’ to the lower left. The work is presented in a forest green matting and a gold tone wooden frame. It is tagged for ‘William Key Interiors’ to the backside.
