Group of 19th Century Amber Glass Chemistry Bottles

A group of two mid 19th century hand blown amber glass chemistry lab bottles with tin metal caps which have a worn red and black painted finish. Both bottles have applied partial printed labels. One is labeled ‘Benzoas Sodicus’ or sodium benzoate which is used as a food preservative. And another labeled as ‘Pulvis Jalapae’.

Condition

- fair as labels and painted finish to the caps show wear.

Measurement is with the caps. Bottles measure 6.75" high.
