A vintage copper replica after the 1820 Swiss monument Lion of Lucern, sculpted in a stone cliff to honor the Swiss Guards protecting King Louis XVI and his family. The miniature copper replica depicts the wounded lion recumbent with the Swiss Cross, the raised lettering at the plinth reading Helvetiorum Fidei Ac Virtuti (to the loyal and bravery of the Swiss).
