A full size German violin by Louis Lowendall, Dresden, 1880, with two-piece back and side construction. Scroll is debossed with stamp reading ’Lowendall’s Celebrated Conservatory Violin. Stradivarius.’ A paper label to its interior reads ‘Lowendall. 1880. Dresden.’ An original leather-covered case with green velvet interior lining, a mother of pearl inlay decorated bow, and an additional bridge are included.

Condition

- scratches and wear to finish; violin will need to be restrung and bow will need to be rehaired. No key for the case.
