A vintage WW2 Royal Navy transport democracy teapot. This vintage brown ceramic teapot features a floral design to the sides with gold trim. The lid is marked ‘And Democracy for England.’ The base is marked with the ‘Staffordshire knot World War II Made in England, English Flag and Lion, Escorted to U.S.A. by Royal Navy and edition 4169.’ The teapot was specifically picked by Sir Winston Churchill during the World War II to raise funds and boost support from the United States.
