Chinese Double Happiness Ginger Jar

Item Details

A Chinese ‘double happiness’ ginger jar. The ceramic piece features a scrolled blue vine design with a leiwen meander border around the top. The piece has a wooden lid with a flat top handle. The underside is marked with a four-character Chenghua reign mark, however, it was likely produced during the Republic period (1912-1949) or later in the 20th century.
