A poster from the Whitney Museum of American Art advertising an exhibition of work titled Calder’s Circus by American artist Alexander Calder (1898-1976). This poster depicts an acrobat formed from pieces of wire and holding the title of the show, also formed from bent wires. The location and dates of the show are printed along the upper edge. This poster is presented behind glass in a black frame that is wired for hanging.
