A chromolithograph on paper titled Speisesaal – Decke after a plate from from the 19th century publication Farbige Decorationen by German painter Ernst Ewald (1836-1904). This print depicts the dining room ceiling in the Villa Reichenheim of hexagonal panels painted with scrolling decorations. It is titled to the lower center and marked in the lower left as drawn by H. Börner and G. Wehling, marked to scale in the center, and marked with the printer’s information to the lower right. A card affixed to the verso reproduces the title page from Farbige Decorationen. This print is presented behind an embellished mat and glass in a gold tone frame that is wired for hanging.
