A chromolithograph on paper titled Florenz after a plate from from the 19th century publication Farbige Decorationen by German painter Ernst Ewald (1836-1904). This print depicts painted decorations of various myths on a ceiling in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy. It is titled and captioned to the lower center and marked in the lower left as drawn by Adolf Rettelbusch (1858-1934), marked to scale in the center, and marked with the printer’s information to the lower right. A card affixed to the verso reproduces the title page from Farbige Decorationen. This print is presented behind an embellished mat and glass in a gold tone frame that is wired for hanging.
