Item Details
An antique English porcelain dessert service. There are fourteen pieces in the set which includes one compote, eight plates and five serving dishes. The grouping features a shaped form, relief moulding with an enameled border, pierced areas and gilt trim. The number 977 is marked to the base of some of the pieces in iron-red.
Condition
- staple repair to at least one piece; firing cracks; wear to gilding; surface marks throughout.
