Forbes Silver Co. and Sheridan Silver Plate Water Pitchers

A selection of two silver plate water pitchers. This group features a Forbes Silver Co. pitcher in the Chippendale pattern with a wide lip, scalloped band around the shoulders, and a footed base. It is stamped with the Forbes maker’s marks, pattern name, ‘EPNS,’ and 998. The lot also includes a Sheridan Silver Co. pitcher with an ice lip on the inside of the spout.

Condition

- surface wear including scratches and tarnish; adhesive residue to underside of Sheridan pitcher.
