1847 Rogers Bros. "Remembrance" Flatware Set
Item Details
A set of silver plated flatware by 1847 Rogers Bros. of International Silver Company. This is in the Remembrance pattern, first introduced in 1948, which features floral accented handles with inner beaded borders along the edges. This sixty-one piece set includes eight dinner forks, eight salad forks, eight iced tea spoons, sixteen teaspoons, eight place spoons, eight knives with stainless steel blades, two serving spoons, a master butter knife, a sugar spoon, and a ladle. They are marked to the backs ‘1847 Rogers Bros. IS Remembrance’. The set is presented in a wooden flatware chest with burgundy felt-like interior lining.
