A vintage watercolor and graphite painting of a Jewish assembly by well-listed Austrian artist Chaim Gross (1904 – 1991). This piece depicts a man gesturing in the foreground with a gathering of people behind him, rendered in expressive marks and vibrant washes of color. The work is signed in ink to the lower right and dated ’62. It is presented on a fabric backing under glass, in a gold tone wood frame, wired to hang.

- bottom right corner of frame has minor chip.
