East Asian Doll Figurines and Box with Spanish Matchbook
Item Details
A collection of East Asian doll figurines with box and matchbook. There are five dolls with porcelain faces dressed in traditional East Asian style clothing in shades of red, gold tone and tan. Most of the pieces also have porcelain hands and one is encased in a clear display box. There is also a black and gold tone box with a red tassle. Additionally, there is a yellow matchbook with an image of a woman and the Spanish words. ‘Vahine no te vi’, translated in English ‘I did not see you’. A label reads ‘Made in Japan’.
Condition
- to fair; standing female doll has some missing hair to back; metal crown has surface wear and this doll does not have hands.
