Wallace-Wallingford Co. Silver Plate Centerpiece Bowl with Oneida Serving Tray
Item Details
A pairing of silver plate tableware. This selection features a centerpiece bowl with a scroll-pierced cover and footed base. It is stamped to the underside, ‘Wallace’ along with the Wallingford Co. maker’s mark of ‘[squirrel], W. Co., [crown],’ ‘NS,’ and ‘553ON’. This piece is presented with an Oneida round serving tray, engraved to the center with a scrolled acanthus leaf motif and gadroon trim around the edges. The underside is stamped with the Oneida maker’s mark.
Condition
- to fair; surface wear including scratches and mild tarnish to each.
