Vintage Charles Norris Baby Grand Piano and Bench

A vintage Charles Norris baby grand piano, serial number 2440, with walnut case stained in a medium dark finish, cast iron plate and wood soundboard. It is marked ‘Charles L. Norris Boston’ in white and black tones to the fall board and with serial number to interior. It includes brass foot pedals and rests on three tapered legs finished with metal casters. The piano includes a walnut bench with sheet music. The Norris & Hyde Piano Company was founded in 1873 and was known for producing high quality pianos and organs; they switched their focus to upright pianos and player pianos to meet demand circa 1910.
