A collection of lithographs and etchings after Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn (1606-1669) etchings titled Extra Set of Plates for Japanese Vellum Edition. Featured reproduction are thirty-two lithographic and twenty four etchings. Included are several portrait including self-portraits of Rembrandt as well as interior scenes. Works are signed in plate to the lower edges. Works are presented in a portfolio.

Condition

- consistent with age; fading and toning present throughout portfolio; some minor tears and folds on edges of papers; smudging also present on margins of prints.

Dimensions

- measurement of entire portfolio; average etching plate size is 6" W x 7.5" H; each.
