Copper Bas Relief Plate of a Dutch Pastoral Scene
Item Details
A copper bas relief plate depicting a dutch pastoral scene. This plate depicts a group of figures working on a farm with a small structure to the background. Possibly a reproduction of a Dutch painting. The plate is unmarked and unsigned. The high relief of the plate indicates that it may have been used as an embossing tool. This plate is presented under green matting with a gold tone finish. A sawtooth hanger is affixed to the verso.

- minor wear and corrosion to plate; minor wear to frame.
