Item Details
A long-stitch embroidery. This piece depicts a path leading to a country cottage with dense gardens of blooming flowers on either side. It is unsigned and presented behind the oval window of an off-white mat and glass in a wood frame. It has a sawtooth bracket to the verso for hanging.
Condition
- toning to mat; nicks and scratches to frame; significant wear to frame, particularly to finish; paper backing mostly torn off.
