Chinese Silk Brocade Long Scroll After Huang Gongwang's "Fuchun Shanju Tu"

Item Details

A machine embroidered silk brocade long scroll titled Fuchun Shanju Tu after an original painting by Chinese artist Huang Gongwang (1269–1354). This calligraphed scroll depicts a sweeping landscape in two registers, mounted on a blue and yellow brocade with silk ties. It is presented in a cloth-lined storage box and decorative bag, with a pamphlet explaining its history.

- silk snagged toward bottom of scroll; silk liner of box snagged on left side.
