A porcelain trinket box from the George Washington White House Collection by Woodmere China. This box reproduces the States pattern used during the administration of George Washington, the first U.S. President. It features a gold star with Martha Washington’s initials and a banner reading ‘Decus Et Tutamen Ab Illo’. The exterior is decorated with some of the names the original thirteen colonies. The underside is marked ‘White House Collection George Washington, U.S.A. First President 1789-1797, Woodmere China, New Castle, PA’.
