A signed limited edition offset lithograph after the original highly detailed painting by artist Bev Doolittle titled Season of the Eagle The 1987 print, numbered 7,563/36,548, depicts the double image in classic Doolittle style of a bird with wings spread overlaid in the image of a line of native Americans on horseback traveling a landscape with rocky cliff in the background and mirror lake to the foreground. Print is presented under glass in a single brown faux leather texture mat and set in a wood frame equipped to hang with a wire to the back. An information label about the artist and the print edition is attached to the back paper lining. Also included is a 1990 publication ‘The Art of Bev Doolittle’.
