An ink drawing on paper embellished with the painted details of a face, by listed German artist Peter Keil (born 1942). The underlying drawing depicts a sketch of a building, and is rendered with fine overlapping lines. The face is painted with a few thoughtful black lines, depicting the figure with a surprised expression on their face. This work is signed and dated ‘58’ to its lower right corner, and is mounted under glass in a gold tone frame with a label confirming the artist’s name to its verso.
