Assortment of Sterling Silver, Plated Silver and Russian 875 Silver Flatware

An assortment of sterling silver, silver plate and Russian 875 silver flatware. The assortment includes a silver plate bread knife, which is marked ‘Gerity Silver G’ with a clover hallmark, along with the numbers 4 and 8. There is a plated silver ladle marked ‘Sheridan Silver’ with a crown, ‘S’ and shield hallmark. A silver plate cake server is marked ‘Rogers’. Also included are a set of eight sterling hollow handle butter spreaders by International Silver Co. in the pattern 1810 and a Gorham sterling hollow handle butter spreader in the Old English Tipt pattern. These are presented together with four Russian 875 silver dinner forks. Three of the forks feature the combined Moscow city mark with the 84 zolotniki, used from 1882-1899, along with the maker’s mark for Ashmarin Vasiliy Matveevich. One fork is marked with the first Kokoshnik mark, used from 1896-1908, along with an additional indiscernible mark. Total approximate weight of forks only is 8.610 ozt.
