A vintage handmade Sixteen Patch Log Cabin pattern block quilt. This traditional quilt variation is composed of a variety of fabric in a primarily muted red, blue, and brown palette. The blocks are constructed of sixteen squares to the center with stepped strips sewn to the outer edge. The quilt features multiple borders and a red binding with coordinating orange and pink floral patterned cotton backing. It is hand quilted with red thread.
