A signed silver gelatin photograph developed by an unknown hand from the original negative shot during the 1960s by listed artist Philippe Halsman (1906 – 1979) titled The Wayward Wife. This monochromatic photograph depicts a nude young woman seated on a rocky wall in profile, as she leans forward while staring down a winding, dirt road that disappears into a wooded background. Halsman has hand signed the photograph in white ink to the lower corner. The photograph is dry mounted to a white mat board, and comes with a typed artist statement.
