Antique Sterling Silver and Gold Plate Pill Boxes

A pairing of antique sterling silver and gold plated pill boxes. The pill boxes have a rectangular shape and a hinged lid. The sterling silver pill box features a transferred image of two women with a cherub to the lid. The image features color of brown, yellow, green, and blue. The gold plated pill box features a transferred image or religious iconography in colors of blue, white, yellow, orange, and brown. The underside of the sterling silver pill box is marked with three hallmarks including a crown for Sheffield, a lion passant for sterling, and an ‘e’ for 1897.

- minor surface wear including faint markings and minimal tarnishing; light wear to transferred images.
