A vintage hand colored engraving on paper of Place des Victoires in Paris. This piece depicts a plaza with a monumental sculpture dwarfing the figures of people, and labeled architectural drawings. The work is marked ‘Liv. III. De la Planimetrie. Planche XV’ in plate to the upper edge, and presented unsigned under layered mats and acrylic glass, in a wood frame wired to hang.

Condition

- chips, dents and scratches to frame; paper is slightly warped; foxing and toning to paper; dust to glass.
