Louis XV Style Carved and Painted Curio Cabinet

An exuberantly carved and painted curio cabinet in the Louis XV style. An assymetrical scroll and acanthus leaf-carved pediment rests above a shaped glass door framed by floral and foliate carvings, flanked by matching sides with flat glass sidelights. The interior is lined in a blue plush and has two glass shelves. The separate base, features a carved drawer and apron, between four heavily carved cabriole legs and fanciful cross stretcher. Circa 1960s.
