A 1960s-70s record store promotional poster for American jazz multi-instrumentalist Rahsaan Roland Kirk (1935 – 1977). The promo poster was issued by Atlantic Records during the artist’s 1965-76 tenure on the label. The print features a halftone image of Kirk to the center, shown performing while playing two woodwinds simultaneously. The lower margin includes the artist’s name printed in sans serif lettering over a black background, adjacent to the Atlantic Records logo. The poster is presented under glass in a white metal frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- damage and wear throughout print with areas of water spots, toning, creasing, holes, foxing and small stains; torn edges and corners; debris present beneath glass; backing board is warped; minor wear and scratching to frame.
